What is JAM?
JAM is an impromptu public speaking club operated through the Ohio State University's Fisher College of Business. Open to all majors, JAM provides members with fun, friendly and informal environment to practice their public speaking on a weekly basis. The way JAM works is simple: each speaker is given a random topic and 30 seconds to speak about it, and then they have to speak for an entire minute. They are then given feedback by members of the club.
JAM's weekly meetings also focus on a different kind of topic each time to prepare members for a variety of public speaking situations. These focuses include but are not limited to debates, how to speeches and interview preparation. Check out our calendar to see what we'll be doing for our next meeting.
Spring Semester Meetings
This semester JAM meets on Tuesdays from 7:30 to 8:30 in 319 Schoenbaum Hall.
